A Diminutive George II Knee-Hole Desk. Dating from the second quarter of the 18th century, this lovely little desk is only 27 inches wide and is constructed of mahogany with English oak drawer linings and stands on shaped bracket feet and retains all its original handles. The one piece top has a molded edge and re-entrant corners. In very good and original condition and with a good colour and waxed patina. 740mm high, 690mm wide and 410mm deep. English. Circa 1740.
