A highly unusual Regency Drum Table. Constructed from pommele mahogany and ebony. The table stands on a tripod base with reeded, paneled and carved splay legs that terminate in decorative box castors. The shaped column supports the revolving top which has four mahogany lined drawers and four dummy drawers, all of which have ebony cock beading. The top itself is of butterfly matched pommele mahogany with a banded edge. In very good condition. 750mm high and 920mm diameter. English. Circa 1830.

N.B. Pommele is a blister-like wood figure that resembles the look of light rain on a puddle.
