An early 18th Century burr walnut veneered bureau of unique small size. The book- matched veneered and banded sloping fall opening to reveal three veneered and herringbone banded interior drawers with pigeon holes above. The four over- moulded drawers also herringbone banded and retaining their original penny- drop handles and escutcheons. The whole resting on the original veneered bracket feet. In very good condition and retaining an attractive waxed patina and original surface throughout. English. Circa 1715.
