An exceptional Sheraton period secretaire bookcase. In West Indian Satinwood with Partridge wood banding. This fine bookcase stands on elegant splay feet above which are three long mahogany lined drawers and a secretaire drawer with an interior of pigeon holes, small drawers and a baize lined writing surface. The upper section with ached glazed doors, an adjustable shelved interior and a molded cornice atop. The bookcase has a superb colour and is in excellent condition. 2070mm high, 780mm wide and 460mm deep. English. Circa 1790.
