George III Mahogany Library Bookcase in exceptionally original condition. Raised on a plinth base with four cupboard doors, behind which is adjustable shelving, all with oval panels surrounded with ebony stringing and bordered by slim pilasters with ebonised insets. The upper section again with four doors all retaining their original bronzed grilles and adjustable shelves. The whole is topped with an elegant molded cornice. The bookcase retains all its original elements and has a very good colour and patina. In very good Country house condition. 2590mm high, 1830mm wide and 370mm deep. English. Circa 1810.
